OsteoVy™ PEKK

OXPEKK® Material

Inherently strong, radiolucent, and with proven osseo-integrative properties, OXPEKK® represents a novel upgrade to orthopedic plastics.

Bone Ongrowth

 OsteoVy™ PEKK is manufactured from biocompatible OXPEKK® polymer. OXPEKK® polymer has been evaluated for osseointegration  through in-vitro and in-vivo studies utilizing animal models, yielded superior results.

Internal Porous Structure

OsteoVy™ PEKK features a large, open pore structure with geometric lattice patterns in order to allow for optimal bone growth through the internal structure of the implant.  The  OsteoVy 3D™ PEKK structure also makes the modulus of elasticity even closer to natural bone.

Enhanced Biocompatibility

 OsteoVy™ PEKK is manufactured from biocompatible OXPEKK® polymer. OXPEKK® polymer  has been shown to be safe for long term human implantation in sites  with primary bone/tissue contact 

The short and long term cell and tissue response to OXPEKK® polymer has been rigorously tested and documented according to ISO 10993 and USP standards.
